This is Anigrand's Seamaster Navy jet bomber in 1:72 scale. The different payloads were scratch built to add a visual interest to the model. The beaching gear and jet engine was scratch built from references I was able to obtain from a book on the P6M bomber.

The purple trailer is the re-fueling pod that the Seamaster was designed to carry in its role as an aerial mid-flight tanker. The other mission pods were the photo reconnaissance pod, the air drop anti ship mine pod (blue), and the atomic weapon pod (not built for the diorama). As you may be aware, the Martin Seamaster was a multi mission aircraft, faster in flight than the USAF B-47 and innovative in its approach to developing a military jet powered flying boat. Its rotary bomb bay door could be fitted with a number of different systems. Alas, the plane was too far ahead of its time in some respects but eventually over taken by developing technologies, a common occurrence in the 1950's aircraft field. Not one of these beauties survives today, the Navy cut them up for scrap...
